How do I delete my account?
Open the app, tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the My Trips screen to open Account settings, then tap "Delete Account" at the bottom. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. Your shared expenses will remain visible to other trip members.
How do I join a trip I've been invited to?
Tap the invite link you received. If SplitRite is installed, the app will open and add you to the trip automatically. If not, you'll be directed to download the app first, then tap the link again.
Does SplitRite work offline?
Yes. All your trip data is stored locally on your device first. Changes sync to the cloud when you're back online. You can add expenses, settle debts, and view balances without an internet connection.
What happens to my data if I leave a trip?
Your expenses remain in the trip for other members to see. This ensures balances stay accurate for everyone else. If you delete your account, the same applies — your shared data is preserved for other participants.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Authentication tokens are stored using platform-native secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
